Meet A Mom

I started out as an actor – I majored in drama at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. I was actually on the set of a horror movie when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter!

Lily: Earlier this year, my friend Sarah Baldwin and I launched Faire Évoluer which is a full service closet editing and organizing and personal shopping business.

This town is also so important to us because my husband and I met at Western Middle School and started dating when we were Seniors at GHS. Now, having a local business in town has been incredible.

I believe it is so important to share whatever it is that you love to do. Therefore, community is crucial. I find it very rewarding to share what I know about the physical body and how our physical health effects our mental state and vice versa.

“Outings generally require a lot of effort with 3 young children, but they’re almost always worth it, and I hope they will shape my children into curious and adventurous individuals.”

Tara: My husband left his job at the White House to be a Navy SEAL and I turned down two dream jobs following business school to support him as a military wife.

I have 3 boys. Ben and Mateo (Twins 11) and Oliver (10). Yes I know, CRAZY! When the twins were 3 months old I got pregnant with my 3rd one, so I had 3 kids in 1 year. You could say I have Irish triplets.

Karena: My absolute favorite event each year is B*CURED’s A Field Day at Night (on Saturday, March 4, 2017!!)

Asya: I was born in Moscow but grew up in Greenwich and attended high school at Greenwich Academy.

Something people might be surprised to know about me is that I can knock out a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle in a matter of a few hours. Totally useless talent, but I love it.

A chance conversation with one of my dearest and oldest friends from Spain led to a plane ride to Toledo Spain and the opportunity of a life-time: to introduce to the US market in stores and on-line, a beautiful and innovative brand.

I love being active in my community. I am a working mom, an ophthalmologist with a private practice, I own The Loft Salon and Spa on Long Ridge Road in North Stamford, and we are involved with a local pet charity called STARelief.

BARBARA: CEO of the Peters household, wife to Philip and mother to Savannah (4) and Madison (1.5). I was born in NYC, and my parents quickly moved to the suburbs where they could escape the concrete jungle and enjoy a backyard!

Kim: I’m originally from Westchester. I graduated high school from Hackley School in Tarrytown. My family and I moved from Rye to Greenwich, CT just a few weeks ago!

Colby: One of the reasons we chose to live in old Greenwich was its “small town” feel. The fact that it is really part of a bigger city makes it even better.

I pride myself on listening to my clients and helping them find a home. I am also involved with the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital which is the trauma center for our region.

Adriana: I am very passionate about what I do because it enables me to get to know people on a deeper level and to help them with their life, family, and businesses.

Nina: Raising four kids was overwhelming, and I needed to find a way to get organized. Since I couldn’t find something that worked for me, I decided to create it myself.

Elise: I’ve worked in the beauty and cosmetic field for over 15 years, working on hundreds of women from all over the U.S.
