Restaurants - Greenwich Moms

Looking for family friendly restaurants in the area? Here are a few of our favorites where the staff happily seats you and your children and may throw in some crayons for extra fun.

Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, Executive Chef Stephen Lewandowski and Director of Operations, Dana Cifone have established Townhouse as the go to spot for those in Fairfield and Westchester counties. Located in the heart of Greenwich, Connecticut, enjoy casual fine dining that embraces modern coastal cuisine. Dive into a seasonal menu that integrates the freshest local produce with proteins from the surrounding seas and pastures. Coupled with an extensive wine list that features rare and hard to find varietals, crafted cocktails, a Little Foodies children’s menu, several private dining/special event options for family and friends to celebrate special moments, seasonal outdoor seating, and private parking. Townhouse is an experience like no other.

Boxcar Cantina

Boxcar is one of our favorite places to grab an early dinner. They serve up authentic Northern New Mexican cuisine and they source local and/or organic ingredients whenever possible and always use sustainable raised organic meats. With a great kiddie menu and tasty margaritas, the whole family will be happy!

Little Pub

Dare I say, healthy pub fare!?! Little Pub has tasty options for the entire family from a Thanksgiving Turkey Wrap to a gluten free Cobb Salad. The restaurant has become very popular very quickly so try to get there early to get a parking spot and avoid long wait times.
531 E. Putnam Ave, Cos Cob. 203 717 1147

Louie’s is fantastic! We love it so much we celebrated my son’s baptism here with 24 people at one long table. The penne alla vodka and Chicken Louie’s are our personal favorites.
136 River Road Ext, Cos Cob. 203 422 2177

Meli Melo

Casual and convenient. Great crepes, soups, smoothies, salads and sandwiches served within moments of ordering. My daughter usually has a soup or the Texan sandwich. The dessert crepes are a big hit as well. This may not be the best option for picky eaters.

The Ginger Man

The Ginger Man is a good spot to grab something while running errands or shopping with the kids. The burger and grilled cheese sandwich are just a couple of options on their extensive menu.

If you’re willing to venture out of Greenwich, but close enough that the kids don’t have a hissy fit, a family favorite is Fortina’s in Armonk (also open in Rye Brook!). With a great selection of beer and cocktails for the adults and an attentive and friendly waitstaff serving up delicious pizzas and pastas, we always look forward to dining here with our little ones.
