Bruce Park
Home to probably the most popular playground in town, there’s a ton to do for kids from new walkers through elementary school. Think: large sandbox, climbing structures, rocking rides and slides. Plus while your kids are playing, you can walk along the nature trails and take in the beautiful scenery.

This new playground has a separate section for kids under 3, with softer ground and smaller equipment. Bonus for parents—a spacious walking path for strollers and a gorgeous view of the water.
Greenwich Common
Location: 1 Sound View Ct, Greenwich
This is a small playground with picnic tables/field right downtown. Grab a coffee on the Ave. and take a breather from errands while the kids burn off some steam.
Greenwich Public Schools

When school’s not in session, the elementary schools have playgrounds perfect for older kids (and little brothers and sisters itching to keep up with them).
Loughlin Ave Playground
Location: Loughlin Ave., Cos Cob
Pick up a smoothie at Green & Tonic and walk over to this medium-sized playground with rocking alligators for little ones, and swings for kids of all ages. Adjacent to soccer field and paddle courts.
Pemberwick Park

Standard playground fare for kids 2 to 12 years old.
William Street Playground
Location: Corner of Church St. & William St., Greenwich
Another downtown playground with activities for kids 2-12; there’s a basketball court for older kids and teens.
