VALENTINE’S DAY COLLECTION
There are few things Winston Flowers does better than translating your love into flowers. Winston Flowers has been in operation since 1944; a push cart in front of the original Ritz- Carlton Hotel in Boston served as the company’s first retail “outlet.” The third-generation, family owned company is owned and run by brothers David and Ted Winston. Winston Flowers has seven retail locations throughout New England, with clients in Boston, Greenwich, CT, New York City and beyond! This weekend, allow us to take Valentine’s Day to the next level with gifts that uphold traditions of the heart and honor exquisite floral beauty.
Our designers at our Greenwich store move beyond standard red and pink roses to include shades of black velvet, amethyst, fuchsia and plum—exclusive access to our specially-grown blooms brings you unique Vanda orchids, Baccara black roses, Italian sweet pea and alluring textures like jasmine, ivy and alocasia.
Of course, we also have plenty of beautiful roses, including our long-stemmed Freedom roses, which have a very large head and are available in red, pink, cream and yellow. As part of our gift collection for Valentine’s Day, we are also using gorgeous short-stemmed roses and varieties like Rubicon, Heart, Freedom, Baccara, Red Paris and Piano garden roses — also in shades of red, pink and cream.
Winston Flowers works with many family-owned farms and growers from all over the world, some exclusively. This year, thousands of roses will travel from South America to our design studio in Boston and will make their way into Winston Flowers Valentine’s Day arrangements for our clients in Greenwich, CT. We source the absolute finest roses in the world. And our exclusive suppliers can fulfill the largest volume of top-tier roses that are long-lasting and have the largest petal count.
Besides roses, what are other popular flowers that are sent for Valentine’s Day? Orchids and tulips. This season we feature exquisite Vanda orchids, ranunculus, sweet pea, Dutch lilac and exotic textures like anthurium, alocasia and English ivy. Again, many of these flowers are available exclusively to Winston Flowers.
With something for everyone, we present a collection that’s as beautiful and diverse as every love in your life.
