Camp sessions and summer vacations are right around the corner! We at Riverside Pediatrics are excited to begin offering telemedicine (video consult) visits during the course of our regular business hours (9:30a-5p) that can be scheduled with your preferred provider. Visits can take place via multiple types of devices (smartphone, tablet, webcam enabled desktop) and from the comfort of your home, office or while traveling. Telemedicine visits will go through insurance with the appropriate copay—exactly as if the visit was conducted in person. Please call the office: (203)629-5800 to make a telemedicine appointment.
Telemedicine is perfect for things like:
newborn questions
rashes
minor allergic reactions
seasonal allergies
medication management (ADHD)
detailed review of lab results and their subsequent management
travel consults
behavior problems
school problems
toilet training advice
nutrition/feeding advice
*If we feel that a patient must be examined or tested for proper evaluation or treatment of the problem, patients will need to follow up for an in-office appointment. (for example, wheezing, ear infections, and strep throat must be evaluated in the office).
With a number of our patients leaving town for the summer, evening after hours will now end at 7pm starting June 4th with our daytime and weekend hours remaining unchanged.
