With 32 years in camping, expert staff, award-winning programs, rich traditions, excellent facilities located at Greenwich Academy, and intensive year-round planning converge on one goal: creating the perfect camp experience for campers. ESF_Mini_Camp
For Boys & Girls AGE 3
MINI CAMP
Arts & Crafts: Campers paint, paste, collage and more while making puppets, masks, crazy glasses and photo frames, among other imaginative creations.
Circle Time: Start the day off right and get revved up for non-stop fun and adventure, complete with morning greetings, songs and stories.
Fun with Sports: Build self-confidence and fundamental skills through daily recreational fun such as soccer, tee-ball, parachute and more!
Music & Dance: Campers sing and dance to the rhythm of this musical adventure.
Puppetry & Storytelling: Campers journey to the incredible land of “make believe” with dramatic play, puppetry, storytelling and more.
Science & Nature: Campers discover science and nature with hands-on experiments, outdoor explorations and scientific adventures.
Water Play: A great way to cool off during the summer. With wading pools, water toys and sprinklers, campers are sure to have a blast while making a splash!
Theme Days & Special Events: Each week, campers enjoy special, theme-related events such as Masquerade Day, Crazy Hat Day and Pirate Day, to name a few.
Highlights: Join us for some special highlights including “Special Person” Visit Day, The Mini Camp Show, and Mini Camp Graduation.
Please note: Campers must be toilet trained in order to attend camp.

For Boys & Girls AGES 4-8
DAY CAMP
Archery Skills: Under the supervision of our archery instructor, campers discover the thrill of shooting for the bulls-eye while learning the finer points of the bow and arrow.
ARTventures: Through classic art projects, keepsake crafts and literature connections, learn the elements of art and the principles of design while discovering Master and Contemporary Artists.
Campers on the Move: This energizing combination of movement, dance, yoga and FUN creates an action-packed, fitness experience for campers.
Camp Shows: Take the stage and shine in the spotlight as you perform in our Camp Shows.

• Possibilities: An Olympic Journey (Friday, August 5)
Creative & Performing Arts: Make music, dance, sing and learn acting and improv techniques through storytelling, charades, karaoke, tribe cheers, skits and dramatic play. Produce and perform in this year’s camp shows.
Daily Swim Instruction: With a low camper to instructor ratio, learn basic techniques and water safety while progressing through skill levels under the guidance and supervision of our Red Cross-certified instructors and lifeguards. Gaga: Campers sprint to the Gaga courts for this action-packed, fast-paced and popular ball game. Fun for all skill levels!
Innovation Lab: Explore the art of design and innovation through various building challenges while learning problem-solving processes and critical thinking techniques.
Jr. Quest: Theme-related games and recreational activities, obstacle courses, relays and more are featured during this exciting team-building time.
Martial Arts (Grades 1-3): Learn techniques and strategies including movement, agility, form, balance, coordination, and self-defense.
Project Discovery (Science & Nature): Discover the world of science! Learn problem-solving processes and critical thinking techniques through scientific investigation, cool experimentation, and inventors’ workshops. Become an environmental steward through nature studies, outdoor exploration, organic gardening and more.
Sports: Practice sportsmanship and teamwork while learning the fundamentals of soccer, basketball, baseball, track and field, street hockey, flag football, tee-ball, wiffle ball and Gaga (grades 1-3). With fun weekly tournaments and recreational games.
The SleepUnder Pajama Party: All of the fun of a traditional “sleepover” without sleeping over!

Each week, campers receive individualized and group instruction in all featured sports: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Flag Football, Tennis, European Team Handball, Golf, Softball, Street Hockey, Swimming

SENIOR CAMP

Camp Life & Wilderness Adventures: Learn practical wilderness survival tips and hone your basic camping skills through fun projects and outdoor experiences.
Community Connection: This initiative is designed to provide an opportunity for campers to engage in planning and implementing a meaningful service-learning project.
Eco-Venture (Science & Nature): Learn to love the environment with cool science projects like the Great Egg Drop, the Recycled Boat Regatta, conservation activities and more.
Evening Events: Join camp friends for a night of fun. With special activities and dinner on us.

Leadership Training Program (ages 14+): Through various leadership, service, and mentoring experiences at camp, our oldest campers have the opportunity to grow as leaders, develop verbal communication and interpersonal skills, be positive role models and create meaningful ways to give back to their community.
Martial Arts: Learn techniques and strategies including movement, agility, form, balance, coordination, and self-defense.
Senior Quest: Collaborate, communicate and problem-solve during high-energy challenges, fun team initiatives and service learning projects.
Sports: Soccer, street hockey, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, flag football, ultimate Frisbee and Gaga. With fun weekly tournaments and recreational games.
Surge Fitness: Get stronger and gain self confidence through aerobic exercise, dance, and yoga!
Swimming: Cool off under the guidance and supervision of Red Cross-certified instructors and lifeguards. Choose recreational swim or an instructional program customized for any skill level.
Ultimate ESF Games: Green vs. Blue-who will be the reigning champs this year? Follow the clues for this highly-anticipated ESF tradition of team competitions.

For Boys & Girls AGES 15-17
LEAD PROGRAM
Join the Leadership Exploration and Development Program (LEaD) and prepare to be a part of the next generation of ESF Leaders. Discover your unique leadership abilities and gain rewarding experience that will help you to develop the skills to be a future ESF counselor or coach, as well as a productive member of your home and school communities. Through immersive leadership workshops, hands-on mentoring and apprentice opportunities, team building initiatives and philanthropic service learning experiences, the LEaD Program will prepare you for the very valuable job of making a difference in the lives of children. Learn about responsibility, professionalism and navigating realistic challenges. Explore the essential skillsets of a leader including: goal-setting, reflection, work styles, situational awareness, communication, public speaking, team-building, critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution, resume-writing, interviewing, and constructive performance feedback.

For Boys & Girls AGES 6-14
TENNIS CAMP
Designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. ESF Tennis Camp cultivates the confidence needed for success both on and off the court. Our program is uniquely designed with each camper’s age and ability in mind and consists of progressive stroke development, round robins, match play, stretching, conditioning drills, special events, and a videotaped analysis of technique. Full and half day options.
