The ICC STEM Summer Camp will be offered from August 15th to August 26th. The camp is a great way to prepare children for back to school after their summer adventures. The camp is designed to engage children in math and science by offering different paths to success. In math, children are exposed to the same problem visually, tactically and by turning the problem inside out. Games of jeopardy make science memorable and fun. And this summer at Audubon Greenwich, children will be introduced to the natural sciences of plants, animals and birds.
The morning is spent refreshing and advancing topics in math and science. Through worksheets, quizzes and competitions, students have a fun academic morning. There are several breaks to keep kids fresh, and weather permitting, students will get an opportunity to play soccer, football or simply explore the beautiful grounds. For the afternoon, ICC has partnered with the Audubon Greenwich. Audubon naturalists will lead the students in exploring the outdoors, and learning about nature, science, and conservation through topics in aquatics, birds, and ecology.
