School’s Out. Now What? | Greenwich Moms

With summer vacation upon us, high school students have lots of free time on their hands. Why not use this time to create a strong plan for upcoming test preparation?

The college application process can be overwhelming, but getting ahead over the summer can help alleviate that stress. Lynn Carnegie, founder of local test prep company Carnegie Pollak, will be giving a free seminar at the Cos Cob Library this June addressing how to navigate the world of standardized testing. It will be held on Tuesday, June 13th at 7:30pm.

“There are so many questions that students and parents don’t know to ask about this process, especially with the new August SAT offered this year,” Carnegie says. “My presentation will give an overview of the testing process to start the dialogue and make it less intimidating for parents.”

Carnegie Pollak has been preparing Greenwich students for standardized tests for more than 30 years. Their outstanding track record with group classes and private tutoring has earned the company the prestigious Best of the Gold Coast award for more than eight years.

Join Lynn Carnegie at this free presentation. Learn how to help your student prepare for the PSAT, SAT, and/or ACT and how to avoid common pitfalls in the test prep process. This presentation is geared towards parents of freshman, sophomores, and juniors; students are also welcome to attend.
