Pirates & Princesses Weekend | Greenwich Moms

During the weekend of March 5 & 6, each child (ages 3-12) dressed as a pirate or princess and visiting with a paying adult receives free Aquarium admission.
Plus, you can follow a treasure map through the Aquarium, encounter strolling pirates and princesses, learn about real pirates of Long Island Sound, join in in making pirate and princess crafts, and more.
Also, kids can supplement their pirate or princess appearance with creative face-painting by Faces by Wells, available for free with admission both days between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
The Maritime Aquarium’s Toy Boat Workshop takes a special pirate flair during “Pirates and Princesses Weekend.” Raise the Jolly Roger as you design your own pirate wooden boat. (There’s a $5 fee to build a boat.)
Plus, look for fun photo opportunities and “pop-up” pirate sword fights presented by East Coast Combative Arts.
Maritime Aquarium, 10 North Water Street in Norwalk
Saturday, March 5 & Sunday, March 6
Cost: most activities free with Aquarium admission
