British American Newborn Care was founded to provide newborn care staffing solutions. Our ambition is to facilitate placements that result in client contentment and candidates that can look forward to long-term job satisfaction.
We offer an efficient and discrete service by gaining a thorough understanding of client’s childcare needs and meeting those needs with rigorously interviewed and screened candidates. The aim is to achieve a result that leaves the client content and candidate happy and satisfied in their new role. We invest time in really understanding a client’s needs and a candidate’s experience and career aspirations. This is supplemented by rigorous background checking of candidates prior to either job trials or a full placement commencing. Each candidate undergoes in-depth interviews to ensure the integrity of their resume and to understand their personality and career aspirations. We carry out thorough reference checks. Our screening process includes: federal and multi state criminal checks, credit checks, SSN traces and where appropriate, driving record checks. At a client’s request we can also arrange drug testing and personality testing.
Our extensive roster of Newborn Care Specialists is comprised of only top quality specialists. All of our specialists must have worked with at least five families and are trained in a wide variety of childcare techniques. Many of our specialists are versed in sleep-training, lactation consulting, premature infant care, caring for multiples, and postpartum support. We have the expertise and facilities to offer training and workshops ranging from training courses geared to specific roles (i.e. Nanny) to workshops for clients on managing household staff.
