Greenwich Moms is teaming up with Neighbor to Neighbor to get food to Greenwich families and ease the burden on those who may already be struggling financially. As moms, we have been grateful to have been able to stock up last week, order grocery deliveries, do takeout or curbside pickup from local restaurants (updated list here), etc., yet we realize many of our neighbors do not have that privilege.
To help, please go to the Greenwich Moms Neighbor to Neighbor Food Drive—just click this link!
That link will bring you to our digital food drive through #givehealthy, which helps Neighbor to Neighbor buy fresh and healthy fruits, vegetables, eggs and more—buying what they need, when they need, to avoid waste!
You can also bring non-perishable food directly to Neighbor to Neighbor, at 248 E. Putnam. Hours here. We spoke with Duncan Operations Manager Duncan Lawson on Monday, and their current urgent needs (in addition to an ongoing supply of fresh produce available on the digital food drive above) include:
Pasta SAUCE
Rice
Cans of meat: chicken, Vienna sausage, Spam and Chef Boyardee
Coffee & tea
Cake Mix
Brownies
