Where are you from originally?
I’m actually a born and bred Aussie. I grew up in a very small town in rural Australia, called Mildura. It was there that I developed an early understanding of the sun down under, and a respect for protective skincare, which led to my career as a dermatologist. I moved to New York City 15 years ago when I started dating my (now) husband. We then moved to Greenwich three years ago when our young family needed greener pastures. (Boys need space to run and play!)

One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
In the past 2 years, I built a house, started a new dermatology practice, and had our third baby. Some days that makes me feel like Wonder Woman. Other days I feel, well, tired!
If it weren’t for dark chocolate, I don’t think I would survive. I call it “mommy’s little helper”, and carry it with me wherever I go for my afternoon energy (and anti-oxidant) boost! I’m passionate about Pilates, I indulge in oil-painting whenever I have time, and I’m an active member of the Palm Beach Surf Lifesaving Club (despite my fear of sharks!).
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My mother and sisters. My mother taught me the meaning of hard work, doing things by hand, and an undying dedication to my kids. Now as a mom myself, I cook most of our meals from scratch, sew Halloween costumes, and soak everything in OxiClean just like she did. My sisters are both inspiring to me as successful, working moms. They are truly modern mothers who “have it all” and manage to survive the struggle to juggle work and family life. I know it’s not as easy as they make it look, but they are my role models and offer unending support.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Visit Stone Barns, hike through the stunning Pocantico Hills, and have coffee afterwards at Blue Hill Café. Sit on the beach and watch the kids relish in the freedom of the ocean and thrill of the waves. Read to them, snuggled in bed with “jammies” on. Crank up the music and dance on the living room floor like no one is watching. (Our current favorite: Another One Bites the Dust)
Are you involved in a business venture?
I’m the founder and face behind Greenwich Point Dermatology, a boutique practice where I bring NYC-quality skincare to our special town. I’m currently building out a gorgeous new space above Saks Shoes just off Greenwich Avenue. My goal is for my practice to be a welcoming sanctuary where science, beauty, and wellness intersect to serve our community.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Three words: Word of Mouth. I have not had to advertise once since I started Greenwich Point Dermatology! The support has been invaluable and I look forward to growing both professionally and personally within this incredible community.
