Cristina: I am from Potomac, Maryland. My husband and I moved to Greenwich two weeks after 9/11 from California. We had been living out west for ten years—five in Hawaii and five in California. We’ve moved around from Greenwich-to Darien-to Stamford-and finally back to Greenwich.
Delaney is our oldest daughter and she is 16. Riley is our middle daughter and she is 13. John is our son and he is 11.
What is your local go-to store for children’s clothes? Honestly, I was sad to see the Kids Gap go a while ago on the Avenue because I went there for all the kids’ underwear, socks, pajamas, uniform pants. It was so convenient. The girls get shoes at Shoes N More. They also love Brandy Melville. Sad that Wishlist is gone because that was helpful for dressy outfits for the girls and cute birthday gifts. Hoaglands always helps for fancy Christmas sweaters. My favorite furniture store is Lillian August—-my entire office is from the back room of the Lillian August warehouse—I love that place!!
We love the parades down Greenwich Ave when we can bring Theo, our big, yellow Lab. We also love to eat out. Harvest, Gabriele’s, Meli Melo, Terra, Mediterraneo, Kira. Or take-out from Fjord’s or Aux Delices. Our favorite kid-friendly recipe is Durkee fried onion covered chicken cutlets. Decadent, but yummy.
My favorite hobbies are baking with my girls, snuggling with my boys (John and Theo, our Lab), working out, taking the gang to Tod’s Point to run on the beach, going to the movies, going into the city to roam, shop, people watch……..
Anything else you want to add? Business venture? Charity work? Etc? After thinking about this for a while, I’ve realized I am already doing my “business venture” and am excited about the phase I am in with it… running groups to support parents and working with individual women and families.
