Allegra: I am originally from San Diego, California.
How long have you lived in Greenwich/Old Greenwich/Riverside/Cos Cob? Since June 2015, prior to that 11 years in NYC.
I have one son, age 11 months
My favorite baby clothing store is Jacadi on Greenwich Ave, but that’s for special occasions only!
Realistically, though, I usually hit up Old Navy, Baby Gap and Carters in Stamford.
We are pretty new to the area so still exploring all the great events offered. I am a new member of the Junior League in Greenwich so am really looking forward to bringing my son to our Touch a Truck event in June and The Enchanted Forest in November!
We love Thai Basil on Railroad Ave for casual, low-key Thai food. For date night, we love The National on Greenwich Ave and drinks at the bar at L’escale.
My son is still on pretty basic solids so my kid friendly recipes are pretty simple, like roasted butternut squash, homemade hummus, guacamole, and roasted chicken. I’m trying to just give him what we eat ourselves and so far, it has worked out pretty well but he’s not too picky yet!
I keep my sanity by doing regular classes at Kaia Yoga – I love their hot yoga room. When the weather is nice, my family and I love to hike or go for long walks in town with the dog.
I am a real estate agent with Douglas Elliman at the new Greenwich office on Field Point Road, right across from Town Hall. I was a broker in the city for a long time and am really enjoying getting to know the Greenwich market and helping other NYC transplants find homes in the area!
I am a new member of the Greenwich Junior League. It’s been a great way to get more involved in the local community and meet other interesting women. I think it’s a great organization to get involved with!
