How have you dealt with the pandemic, as a working mom?
Certainly, I have lost a good amount of my coolness during these months. Now more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves as moms; we are the pillars of the family, so, in my opinion, if we are doing well, all the family is doing well. That’s why I try to pamper myself as much as possible, observing social distance guidelines, of course.
Once in a while, I have a Botox touch up here and there with Dr. Magana in Riverside at Magana Plastic Surgery – the very best, really!
I also can’t live without my mani-pedi at Empy’s Day Spa.
To grab a nice bite, I like l’escale, Valbella, and Le Fat Poodle.
To go with the family, any restaurant in the Avenue really, our favorites are Miku, Meli Melo and Ginger Man.
What are your favorite activities to do in town with your kids?
We mostly have play dates in social distanced groups; some of them include: Songs for Seeds, but you can also find us out and about in Binney and Bruce Park, as well as @tods_point. Not to mention Bridges School, which has been incredible for Margot, my 4-year-old. She has marvelous friends and my husband and I have found an incredible support net in every mom, dad and teacher in school.
