Tonight’s Meet a Mom is Angela Swift, Compass Real Estate agent extraordinaire. Having raised 3 kids in Greenwich, she has a deep knowledge of our town and a true understanding of why it is really the perfect place to raise a family.
Angela runs an incredibly hands-on team of real estate experts who know this town, know the process, and are with their clients every single step of the way in all aspects of the moving journey.
She shares with us not only her love of cooking, food, and sports but also the best advice for anyone considering buying or selling their home.
Please tell us a bit about your family and life in Greenwich (names/ages of kids, where you live, etc), what do you like to do as a family?
My kids are all grown!
My youngest Courtney, 22, is a Senior at Clemson and getting her Master in Elementary School Education.
My son Tyler is 26, he’s an Elon Graduate working at Spotify and living in the West Village
My oldest Brooke, 29, is a Clemson graduate and she just married her college sweetheart and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina.
All of my kids are GHS graduates and still maintain close relationships with their Greenwich childhood friends.
And then we can’t forget my fur kid DABO, who is a 3 year old golden retriever
We are a sports, food and travel family for sure! As my kids have gotten older, doing all of these together is just getting better and better.
I’m Italian so of course food is my love language. Every holiday we make over 80 lasagnas for all of my clients.
I love the Food Network (i’m an Ina Garten fan girl!), and I dream of having a vegetable and herb garden like hers.
My happy place is Nantucket and we try to get there as often as we can throughout the year. Other favorite spots include the British Virgin Islands. This year I’m taking the month of June off to celebrate my 60th Jubilee – and traveling to Lake Como, a Villa in Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Ireland and maybe if the stars align Bruce Springsteen in Sweden!
I am a sports girl through and through. My favorite sports to watch and cheer are Clemson and Notre Dame Football; I’ve been a New York Giants fan since I could talk. And I am a Yankees and Rangers fanatic as well!
What do you love about Greenwich and your neighborhood?
I love everything about this town. It’s the perfect mix of Coast and Country. The access to NYC and Stamford, world class restaurants, the shopping on Greenwich Avenue, a community where our entire family has made lifelong friendships, the schools and recreation. It really is the perfect place to raise a family.
What differentiates your company from other realty groups?

What is your favorite home you have sold and why?
I sold dear friends a piece of land on Meadow Road in Riverside – finding needle in haystack for my client and friends to build their dream home on the Long Island Sound, in the perfect family neighborhood, was a real joy.
What is your best piece of advice for anyone looking to buy/sell a house?
