The tradition of tapping maple trees for sap has been around for hundreds of years, dating back to the indigenous people of the Northeast and was adopted by incoming European colonists. Join us for Maple Sugar Day at Greenwich Land Trust and learn how to tap trees and make your own syrup.
We will have hands-on demonstrations and stations throughout the Louise Mueller Preserve, samples, food trucks and more!
Cost: $10 for individuals; $20 Member families; $30 Non-member families. Please register in advance HERE. https://gltrust.org/event/maple-sugar-day-2/
