Music Together of Fairfield County offers Gold standard early childhood music and movement classes for children ages 0 to 8 and their families!

Now serving more than 3,000 communities in over 40 countries worldwide, Music Together connects families and communities across the globe as they express the and explore the basic human instinct for making music. We’ve all seen even the youngest children respond positively to music. As soon as they hear the first few notes, they’re bobbing up and down, swaying side to side, smiles taking over their little faces.

Music Together of Fairfield County is celebrating 25 years of teaching children ages 0 to 8 and the adults who love them . Over 20,000 families have joined us for classes in ten towns in Fairfield County including Greenwich, Old Greenwich and Stamford. Our research based program provides cutting edge methodology with developmentally appropriate practice in an inspiring, fun and educational class experience that is enjoyable for adults and children !
Programming includes Babies classes for children birth to 8 months, mixed age classes for children ages 0 to 4 where siblings can attend together, and Pre- Rhythm and Rhythm Kids Drum, dance and sing classes for children ages 3 ½ to 8. Music Together also has a comprehensive In- School curriculum for preschools and daycare centers which is offered in schools in Bridgeport, Darien, and Stamford and locations in Fairfield County.
In the traditional Mixed Age Music Together class, parents and children sing, dance, chant, play instruments in an environment where interaction and exploration is invited and encouraged. We create a community of music makers, where adults, regardless of their musical ability, participate as role models for their children. Just as children learn to read by being read to and watching the people they love doing so as well, when parents model music making, their children naturally acquire the disposition to do so themselves. Babies classes offer the same model with parents learning new ways to interact and bond with their infants.
Rhythm Kids is our latest new program offering ! Children ages 3 ½ to five and their parents attend the Pre- Rhythm Kids class, which takes musical skills to the next level as they sing, dance and play djembe drums, learning rhythms from around the world. Rhythm Kids is for children ages 5 to 8 and takes these children into deeper development of rhythm skills on djembe drums, as well as singing, dancing, and musical games.
