LEGO Weekend, Sailor Jerome Rand, Maritime with a Twist and More at The Maritime Aquarium! | Greenwich Moms

LEGO® Weekend

January 26 & 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Help LEGO® experts create an enormous Aquarium-themed scene using everyone’s favorite building blocks during “LEGO Weekend” at the Aquarium!

Throughout the weekend, LEGO experts will engineer a big fun project made entirely out of LEGO blocks in Newman’s Own Hall. The experts will create the scene, but it needs animals! Guests can build a small LEGO marine creature that will be part of the finished piece, or create pieces of their choosing.

Attention Aquarium Members! Join us at 9 a.m. both Saturday & Sunday for special early access to “LEGO Weekend.”

Spend an Evening with Solo Circumnavigating Sailor Jerome Rand

Thursday, January 24 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Re-live an incredible non-stop solo voyage around the world – completed in one of the smallest boats ever to make the journey – in a special presentation by sailor Jerome Rand at The Maritime Aquarium!

Rand circumnavigated the planet aboard a 32-foot, 43-year-old sailboat in an adventure that took nine months, from October 2017 to June 2018. His was the first unsponsored nonstop sail around the world that started from the U.S.
