Popular summer event benefits Pediatrics and Women’s Health
Greenwich Hospital announced today that Karen Santucci, MD, section chief, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital will be honored at the annual Under the Stars event on Friday, May 17 at Riverside Yacht Club. Dr. Santucci is among the cadre of pediatric emergency medicine specialists now working at Greenwich Hospital.“We are so proud to honor Dr. Santucci at Under the Stars,” said Norman G. Roth, president and chief executive officer of Greenwich Hospital. “Under her leadership, emergency medicine physicians from Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital offer expert, round-the-clock coverage in our emergency department. She is a true asset to our organization, helping make a difference for children and families in the Greenwich and surrounding communities.”
More than 500 guests from Fairfield and Westchester counties are expected to attend this year’s festivities. Further details will be released in the coming months about the exciting musical artist who will perform at the event. In addition to the music, Under the Stars will feature a live and silent auction, a high-end wine and liquor auction, and a seated dinner service with an open bar for all guests.
Co-chairs Katie Fong Biglin, Andrea Sinkin Jaffe and Jennifer Turano, along with a committee of dedicated volunteers, are planning this celebratory evening of music to benefit Pediatrics and Women’s Health at Greenwich Hospital.
“It’s the people of this town that make it so special and so welcoming,” said Jaffe. “To be offered the platform to give back to this amazing community fills me and my wonderful co-chairs with immense pride. The hospital, doctors and nurses all give so much of themselves to the Greenwich community, and Under the Stars allows us a turn to give back to them.”
Pediatrics and Women’s Health at Greenwich Hospital
Everything a child could need from a top-ranked children’s hospital is now in Greenwich.
