Jay and Ray are going to be performing at the Palace Theater in Stamford this September 11 at 3pm for their “Going Back To School” show. Jay and Ray will be donating all proceeds to The Brighter Lives for Kids Foundation. They are a non-profit ran by volunteers from Fairfield County who are focused on helping children in Bridgeport, CT. They collect donations of toys, books, clothes, accessories and distribute to those families in need. They provide school supplies such as reader books, pencils, book bags, basic classroom essentials and more. They have volunteers in the classroom reading and helping as an extra set of hands. They arranged a reading program for the children who are behind at school for some one-on-one attention over the summer months where they did puzzles, helped with reading, comprehension, worksheets and sent the children home with their very own books to read. Jay and Ray will also be joined by some very special guests and our teachers. Look forward to a show that is not to be missed. They will have Pete Francis and Recorder Man (Diggy) our teachers Dana Clark and Jake Jacobsen and some special dancers “The Maplettes” from CLC school in Stamford.
