#itsallgood Tales and Tips from Roe Chlala at Festivities March 2018 | Greenwich Moms

Are you ready to transform your world? I think I remember what is hidden under the snow. It’s magic! That’s what’s hidden under all that… just waiting to come out.
This month is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect – with nature and with each other as we witness the changing of the season.
Are you a “noticer” – How much fun to take a walk with our children and begin showing them all the joys of being a “noticer”…? As our days fly by us in a flurry of activities, do any of us take the time to be a “noticer” ?
There are many joys in being a noticer – not in an ocd way but in a way that finds the beauty and joy in the moment… in the details… are the crocus coming up? Are the trees budding? What comes next? Is the breeze just a bit warmer today? What did today feel like?
Collage making of all the things noticed can be a messy reminder that there is joy in the mundane. And the noticing takes the mundane and makes it special.
Jordan Kim, in his collage, says it all!

And when cabin fever strikes in March, think of yummy fruits and vegetables that give us a dose of Vitamin C. Scientists have found that Vitamin C In all its forms nourishes and calms. It also helps protect the body from stress and free radicals. Delicious choices include blueberries, mango, cranberries, strawberries, Brussel sprouts, leafy greens, broccoli and red and green peppers.

And here is a delicious salad that includes many of the items on our list of foods that nourish and calm.
