Where do you live and how long have you been working with Easy Home Management?
We moved to Riverside in 2020 and started working with the Easy Home Management team in the Spring of 2021. We are first time home owners.
What does Easy Home Management do for your home?
The EHM team is our go-to for tackling projects big and small. Our house is almost 80 years old and has needed some maintenance and updating since we moved in. Through the EHM team, we had them paint our house, power wash the windows, regrout our stone patio, regrout a shower and updated shower fixtures, small electrical and plumbing work, hang heavy mirrors and frames, install and remove Christmas lights each year, and also do seasonal power washing.
The biggest project EHM did for our house was to replace our 25-year-old asphalt shingle roof (covering our 5,700 sf home) with a new cedar roof in late 2021. They did a fantastic job and have made our neighbors admire our new roof. It’s truly a full-service team!
What has been the hardest part of owning/ maintaining your home? How did Easy Home Management help you manage this process?
The hardest part is identifying what we need done and who can do it. Finding trustworthy, quality contractors and subcontractors is challenging and then the coordination and supervision of the work/workers is really a full-time job.
Now, we just call the EHM team and they handle all of that. Communication is so important for home projects and the EHM team also proactively reaches out to flag updates on scheduled projects and really work with us to make sure all timelines and next steps are a fit for our schedule. They can also, if needed, supervise work done by subcontractors when we are not home.
As a mother, how does having Easy Home Management make your life easier?
Absolutely. I have been working with them for almost two years and I can just text or email if I need to get something done in our house. I don’t have to worry about where to find the right people or about trusting them with the quality of their work. I have also become comfortable enough with the EHM team that they can show up at our house at 8:30am when I am getting our kids ready for school. Plus, the EHM staff are very polite and respectful!
