A Few Romantic Restaurants We Love—Perfect for Valentine’s! | Greenwich Moms

We don’t need a national holiday to go on a date night (we only need a babysitter with availability, ha!). But if you need some inspiration, here are some of our favorite romantic spots in town, to reconnect—this Friday or any time.

Café 47 at Perfect Provenance

Located just off the Avenue, this intimate yet casual spot is doing a special $85 prix fixe for Valentine’s, with a complimentary glass of champagne and classics like filet and molten chocolate included.

Tony’s at the J House

This restaurant is an easy choice for Valentine’s, with a romantic atmosphere in the dining room and a lively bar. A special $75 3-course Valentine’s menu includes the upscale dishes Tony’s is known for, from a truffle pasta to Chilean sea bass.

l’escale

This date night and girls’ night out go-to is featuring an $85 3-course meal; the menu highlights include oysters, duck and a whole wheat pesto pappardelle that vegetarians will love.

Louie’s

This Cos Cob staple feels special without being formal, which makes it ideal for date night, on Valentine’s or any Friday. Don’t-miss dishes include the Polpo & Beans, Penne a la Vodka and Short Rib Ravioli.

Polpo

Known for their raw bar, you can’t go wrong with the shrimp or lobster cocktail at this downtown staple. We love the decadent authentic Italian cuisine, but find ourselves making a reservation at Polpo for the cozy, romantic atmosphere.

Back 40

Right on the Avenue, this farm to table hotspot is perfect for those looking to eat organic in an inviting environment. Favorites include the charcuterie board, brussel sprouts Caesar salad,  seafood paella and lobster risotto.
