Town Hall bake sale

Anyone coming through Town Hall on the afternoon of June 2 will be able to grab something sweet while helping youth initiatives in Town.

From noon to 4 p.m., there will be a bake sale in the lobby at Town Hall. Come on through and grab something while you are here as the proceeds will benefit the First Selectman’s Youth Commission.

This a Town-led organization that is dedicated to empowering and improving the lives of youth throughout the community. It promotes education, leadership, and personal growth for students of all ages.

Some of the commission’s great projects include the Middle School STEM Fair, the Finance Series which teaches essential financial literacy skills. NOVA which is an out-of-school math support program, SEED a weekly enrichment program for elementary students in after-school care and Greenwich Shark Tank, a youth-led initiative focused on developing solutions to social issues within the community.
