Perrot Library – Learn About Native Insects with the CT DEEP

Learn about the importance of native insects in Connecticut, presented by naturalists from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. You’ll get to take a closer look at some native insect specimens with a microscope, and attempt to identify them using our guides. Plus, you’ll meet live hissing cockroaches!
For kids entering Grades K-6.
