Live Like Luke Beach Cleanup @Todd’s Point

Speaking of beautifying our Town, there is a chance for all of us to get involved on April 27 when the annual spring breach cleanup Live Like Luke takes place.

The work will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tod’s Point and volunteers are being sought to help out by making sure our beloved beach is looking as great as possible when beach seasons begins very soon. People can register here for the event and upon arrival you can check in at the signup table that will be set up in the first parking lot at Tod’s Point.

This is being done in memory of Greenwich teen Luke Meyers who was a passionate advocate for the environment and set a sterling example not only for his fellow youths but to all of us in Town by showing what people working together for a common, positive cause can do.

We lost Luke far too soon to cancer in 2019 and we will continue to pay tribute to him and honor his legacy and honor his legacy by taking part in this annual cleanup, which is organized by Greenwich Green and Clean and their community partners.
