Enjoy a Little Luck of the Irish at the Farm! | Greenwich Moms

Bring the entire family on the day after St. Patrick’s Day for some spring pea planting, a Pot o’ Gold Scavenger Hunt, traditional Irish music and crafts. Superstitious gardeners believe that it is LUCKY to plant peas on St. Patrick’s Day. And as you probably know all too well, we gardeners NEED all the luck we can get! Pea planting at the farm is a great way to expose your children to the joys of gardening. They will also delight in a scavenger hunt for gold rocks and trying their hand at crafts, led by Lily Burns. For those looking to do a jig, traditional Irish music will be provided by Weston’s own, Ava Cho and Kaeli Mecca. $20/Family. Register http://www.lachattownfarm.org/events-display.php?status=1
