Chabad of Greenwich Announces Chanukah Concert and Menorah Lighting | Greenwich Moms

Chabad of Greenwich will conduct a Chanukah Concert and Party for families on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Greenwich High School’s Performing Arts Center, 10 Hillside Road, Greenwich, CT. “We’re so excited for our Chanukah celebration this year,” says Chabad Rabbi Yossi Deren. “The talented acapella group “The Maccabeats” will entertain families with their incredible singing and beatboxing abilities. At Chabad, we welcome all denominations and backgrounds, and tailor our events to all ages.” The festivities begin at 10 A.M. when the concert doors open and kick off with the menorah lighting on stage.
Led by First Selectman Mr. Peter Tesei and Rabbi Deren. The Gan of Greenwich Preschool and Chabad of Greenwich Hebrew School will sing “I have a little dreidel” and the Menorah blessings. The Maccabeats acapella group, uses its voice and Jewish humor to perform an eclectic array of Jewish, American, and Israeli songs with a proud message, and is returning to entertain Greenwich residents for the 6th time. The group has amassed a fanbase of twenty million views on YouTube, earned many TV appearances, and released four successful albums since 2010. After the menorah lighting and concert, families are invited to stay for lunch. Restaurant “Soosh” will be selling Sushi, Mini Pizzas, Latkes, and Donuts.
