Camp Playland in New Canaan is celebrating 60 summers! Owned and operated by the Bloom family since 1957, for three generations, Camp Playland is the place to be for safe, warm, nurturing, fun and instructional summers. The camp provides door-to-door transportation in Fairfield County and serves campers ages three to fourteen. The 18-acre campus features three heated swimming pools, athletic fields, a boating and fishing pond, tennis courts, ropes courses, and an archery range.
What sets Camp Playland apart? The premier campus was constructed for summer camp – camp is what they do. Gary and Steve Bloom, the father-son owner/directors always have in the forefront of their minds, “it is all for the campers.” Camp Playland is a place where children feel physically and emotionally safe.
