Meet Barbara! | Greenwich Moms

Barbara: CEO of the Peters household, wife to Philip Peters III and mother to Savannah (3) and Madison (4.5 months).
I was born in NYC, and my parents quickly moved to the suburbs where they could escape the concrete jungle and enjoy a backyard! I was raised in New Canaan, CT which will always have a spot in my heart as it is such a charming town.
Phil and I were married in and moved to Greenwich in April, 2010. We love the town community and the friends that we have made here.
I’ve been blessed with two sweet baby girls! Savannah is 3.5 years old (not a baby, but a big girl, as she so clearly points out) and Madison is 4.5 months old. I do not have a sister and so I am so happy for this special relationship they will have.
I attended Serendipity’s annual Food & Wine Festival for the first time last year, and it was by far and away our favorite event hosted in Greenwich! Amazing music, incredible food and great people.
Favorite restaurants include LePenguin and Le Fat Poodle. The food is amazing, I love the ambiance of both and the music is great. Perfect spots for dinner out with friends or for a fun date night sans kiddos.
We live near downtown Greenwich, and so walking with the kids is a favorite activity. We like to pop by Pet Pantry and check out the animals and fish tanks, to Lobster Bin to see lobsters in their tank, to Bruce Park, to Indian Harbor Yacht Club where we are members, and to Greenwich Avenue for some window shopping and a green juice from Meli-Melo. Another favorite spot for long walks is at Tod’s Point, especially in the spring and fall when the weather is more cool and crisp and the beach is not so crowded.
We love living in Greenwich and are so happy to be raising our kids here, and we have only just scratched the surface learning about all of the fun activities it has to offer!
