Greenwich Library – Paint your Pet Watercolor Workshop with the Connecticut Humane Society
Bring your favorite pet picture to life at this guided paint your pet workshop. With watercolors as your medium, Connecticut Humane Society staff as your guides, and an 8″ x 10″ blank slate canvas, you’ll create a masterpiece of your beloved pet. This is an opportunity for teens of all art skill levels, no prior painting experience required!
We will provide all of the necessary art supplies, you will pick out your favorite picture of your pet! Don’t have a pet? That’s okay! You can paint one of the CHS’ pets who is awaiting adoption.
Whether you paint a pastel poodle, a monochrome Maine Coon, or a bold bunny, all types of pets are welcome to be painted.
Please Note:
- Dress for Mess!
- CHS staff are not trained artists, just art enthusiasts
- Pets are not allowed to attend, only photos
- After you register, please email the photo you’d like to paint to [email protected] by July 20th so that we can have a printed copy ready for you when you arrive
