Greenwich Library – Introduction to iPad

June 17 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Are you wondering where to start with your iPad? This easy, non-technical workshop will reveal the basics you need to know; offer tips so you can get the most out of your device; and answer your specific questions.

We’ll cover:

  • Why you would want to use an iPad
  • How to setup and access email on an iPad
  • The basics of iCloud, and why it’s worth using
  • How to get apps – and why you need an Apple Account (aka Apple ID) to do so

This 90-minute workshop will be interactive, displaying the screens of people’s iPads in real time – so bring your questions, and don’t forget to bring your own iPad. (This workshop is only about the Apple device, and will not address generic Android pads.)

Let a former Apple Store specialist and technology tutor show you the core features you should know, and the shortcuts that might otherwise take months to discover on your own. Above all, learn to empower yourself, so you’ll be able to broaden your use of this incredible device, and solve issues on your own
