Music – Concessions – Participation Ribbons
The annual Kite Flying Festival returns to Greenwich point Beach this Saturday. The Festival is sponsored by the Greenwich Arts Council and the Town Department of Parks and Recreation.
Enjoy live music performed by Ray and Jay, lunch at the beach, and kite flying. Participants need only bring a kite to fly. The more creative, fun, and colorful the kite, the better! All kite fliers will be recognized with a participation ribbon. The India Cultural Center of Greenwich will also be providing a demonstration and instruction on the most popular Indian kite, the patang, which is an Indian fighter kite. ICC will have several patangs for children to fly and take home.
