A whole new experience is waiting for you at the Bronx Zoo! Nature Trek allows children (ages 3 and up) to get a giraffe’s-eye view as they explore a tree village 14 feet off the ground. Cross wavy bridges and crawl through elevated tunnels. Take in the view from a human-sized bird nest and balance on wiggly surfaces.
The bridges, walkways, and towers are safe, fully netted, and offer accessible routes. Which means you can explore the world from a fresh point of view.
Please note: Adult supervision is required. Climbing structure is only for ages 3 and up; the play area is for all ages. Closed-toe, secured sneakers are best; we do not recommend flip-flops or unsecure footwear. High heels are prohibited on the climbing structure.
There is also an EXPLORE AND PLAY area open to all ages where children can get their hands dirty and explore the wildlife around them
