Signs of Spring Amphibian Walk @Greenwich Land Trust

March 26 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Tuesday, March 26 @3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Meet at GLT’s 80-acre Converse Brook Preserve to search for amphibians as they come out to lay eggs in vernal pools.

We’ll also see which plants are emerging first in the spring. GLT is happy to partner with Greenwich’s Conservation Commission to bring you this informative, outdoor program.

Bring sturdy, waterproof footwear and weather appropriate clothing to this moderate intensity walk.

The Conservation Department is partnering with organizations in town who do important work in maintaining our local ecosystems and green spaces through nature walks and talks. The Conservation Commission focuses on the development, conservation, supervision, education, and regulation of natural and cultural resources, including water resources in town.

Space is limited to 20 people; Pre-registration is required. Location: Converse Brook Preserve.
