Native Seed Expedition with the Northeast Seed Collective.
Come join Dina Brewtser of The Hickories and Sefra Alexandra, The Seed Huntress on an exploration into truly local native seed. Sefra and Dina are the co-founders of The Ecotype Project, sit on the steering committee of The Northeast Seed Network and run the farmer-led Northeast Seed Collective. Together we will explore the native plants onsite at the Greenwich Botanical Gardens, collect seed and demonstrate winter sowing so all participants know how to grow their own ecotypic pollinator plants to ecologically restore our wild lands!
