Introduction to Wilderness Survival

Join wilderness survival expert, Steve Lancia, to learn about prioritizing the six elements of survival and gear up for emergency preparedness in both urban and wilderness settings. During this two-hour class, Steve will discuss the specific needs of a bug-out-bag or survival kit, and how to best assemble one. You will also explore vital skills such as First Aid, shelter preparation, fire building, water collection, and purification, signaling for help, and gathering food.

For ages 12 and up.

This event is part of the 2022 Ault Summer Reading program, Read Beyond the Beaten Path.
