Are you paying too much for your prescription drug coverage? Medicare Open Enrollment begins on October 15th and concludes on December 7th. During this annual window, Medicare beneficiaries can reevaluate their prescription drug coverage. All changes made during Open Enrollment will go into effect January 1, 2025.
The Commission on Aging highly recommends that all Medicare beneficiaries review prescription drug coverage options each year as opposed to simply allowing an existing drug plan to automatically renew. Changes to drug plan premiums and plan formularies can leave you locked-in a plan that costs more and provides less coverage.
The Commission on Aging will begin accepting appointments for open enrollment on 9/23/2024.Sign up for a 30 minute session with a certified CHOICES Counselor through the Greenwich Commission on Aging at: (Existing Medicare Clients) Wallace Center Medicare Consultation (jotform.com). Participants are encouraged to create a MyMedicare.gov account prior to their appointment. Contact the Commission on Aging at 203-862-6707 for assistance.
