This powerful film tells the incredible true story of humanitarian Nicholas Winton, an Englishman who sought to help children in German-occupied Czechoslovakia flee the country on the cusp of WWII. The film alternates between Winton’s rescue work as a young man and his reflection in old age, inviting the viewer to contemplate the impact of unsung heroism. Anthony Hopkins and Helena Bonham Carter bring the story to life. Rated PG. 1h50m.
