Fred Elser First Sunday Science: What makes an insect harmful…or helpful?

This talk by Katherine Dugas of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station will highlight insects in their varied roles as lauded pollinators, misunderstood benefactors, troublesome garden pests, environmental threats (including a focus on the new invasive insect in town, the spotted lanternfly) and what to do about them!

The free 60-minute presentation at the Bruce Museum Seaside Center begins at 2 PM, Sunday, September, at 11 Tods Driftway, Old Greenwich, CT.

This program is free of charge. No beach pass is required if you are attending the Fred Elser First Sunday Science. Please let them know at the gate you are attending the Bruce Museum Seaside Center lecture. First Sunday Science programs take place at the Floren Family Environmental Center at Innis Arden Cottage, Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich, CT.
