Meet Lis! | Greenwich Moms

Lis: I’m originally from Argentina, moved to NYC in 2003 and to Greenwich in 2010. I have 3 boys. Ben and Mateo (Twins 11) and Oliver (10). Yes I know, CRAZY! When the twins were 3 months old I got pregnant with my 3rd one, so I had 3 kids in 1 year. You could say I have Irish triplets.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
In my early twenties I decided to go for one of my crazy dreams, so I grabbed my backpack and traveled around Europe for a year, by myself… It was one of the best experiences of my life. Every day an adventure. I would get on a train and if I liked what I saw through the windows I would get off and visit a new place or maybe live there for a while. After a year I got tired so I moved to NYC to pursue my 2nd dream, to become an actress. (But that is another story)
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My mom and one of my good friends, they were always there to give me courage when I thought motherhood was really hard…it’s important not to feel guilty when you make mistakes or you lose your cool like 87 times a day and you think you are not a good parent. We all learn as we go and you are just doing your best while trying to survive and keep them alive, happy and healthy.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Travel! That is my #1 thing. But lately I discovered a passion for watching my sons play basketball. I’m not a big sports person but I find it quite entertaining to go to the games, sit on the bleachers with other moms and cheer my son’s team on. (Embarrassing my kids comes naturally)

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
I created My Exclusive Concierge (a personal concierge company) after my kids were a little more independent. Last year I created a branch called My Exclusive Organizer (MyExclusiveOrganizer.com). It’s an amazing way to help other moms organize and style their homes so they feel good and can spend more time doing what they enjoy the most. I create systems so everything has a home and it’s easier to keep things tidy and clutter free.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I’ve been very lucky. I have found really good people who helped me in so many ways and I always try to help others, from donating to different charities to just doing something for someone when they least expect it. If I see a woman walking through Greenwich I always stop and offer a ride. Simple things can change people’s lives in ways you can’t even imagine. Every little thing counts, especially the little things.
