For Families with Young Children who Enjoy Dancing and Stories | Greenwich Moms

Dance Adventure’s Director, Nola Van Alstine launches www.BalletStories.com! Nola Van Alstine, the Director of Dance Adventure, a 27 year-old Greenwich Dance School, has launched her newest venture: Ballet Stories. This website offers dance-along videos, e-books and audiobooks for young ballet students and is based on Nola’s work with students in Greenwich. Nola Van Alstine, or Miss Nola, has taught thousands of local residents, and is well-known for teaching young ballerinas using original ballet stories. “Over the years, I have written dozens of stories that help bring ballet technique to life for young dancers,” Nola said. “I am excited to have these stories online so that families around the world can enjoy them outside of the dance studio.” Four stories, The Cloud Fairy, The Swan Princesses, The Four Corners, and Fairy-One-Step, are now available on the site. Star performers in the videos are Dance Adventure students (aged 3-6 years), and Lydia Currie, a Stamford resident and college student who began her own ballet studies at Dance Adventure from the age of two. Ballerinas and their parents can go to www.balletstories.com, and sign up for free membership.
