End-Of-The-School-Year Must Have for your Children’s Artwork

Blog: Written by Becca B. Of Darien, CT. Mom of two boys, ages 4 and 6.

At the end of school every year, I stare at the piles of my children’s artwork and school work and wonder what I’m supposed to do with it all. We do our best to pare down the collection during the year, but still end up with a ton! What I love is the steady improvement in my kids’ drawing and writing, and the day-to-day memories that I know I’ll someday forget if I don’t save them. So this year, I was on a mission to figure out a better way, and I found it! PLUM PRINT!

I did my research online and came across Plum Print. They sent two boxes to my home, which I filled with artwork and school work and sent back to them (shipping is included.) Plum Print then digitized everything and made a custom book for each kid! They sent me online proofs of the books so I could request changes. So easy! The books arrived about 3 weeks after I sent in my artwork and they were BEAUTIFUL! The kids were thrilled and wanted to show them off to everyone. I hadn’t much thought about how the kids would react, but they had this sense of pride that we had “published” their work which, of course, made me feel like mom-of-the-year!

Confession here: I actually had Plum Print do books of last year’s work because it was still lying around the house with nowhere to go. I had the books completed before Mother’s Day, which ended up being great timing for Mother’s Day gifts for the grandmothers! I had a choice of getting the grandmothers a copy of the book (at 50% off!) or choosing a gift from a bunch of products featuring the kids’ artwork. I ended up getting both grandmothers a throw pillow and a set of note cards. Needless to say, the grandmothers were over the moon! (As was I, because it took me all of 5 minutes to order the gifts!)

Plum Print saved me from clutter while helping me preserve the memories of my children growing up. (Truth be told, they saved me from the guilt of throwing it out as well!) The books come in two sizes and start at $85. My books were more like $150, but worth every penny because of how easy it was!

Plum Print would like to extend a $20 discount to all readers using the code FAIRFIELD (expires 7/31/17.) Go to www.PlumPrint.com to place your deposit now.
