Connecticut Ballet presents The Nutcracker | Greenwich Moms

Connecticut Ballet’s holiday blockbuster and perennial audience favorite, ‘The Nutcracker’, returns to Stamford’s Palace Theatre on Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17 for four performances. Artistic Director Brett Raphael announced that guest stars Lauren Lovette and Ask la Cour of New York City Ballet and Christine Shevchenko and Blaine Hoven of American Ballet Theatre will alternate in the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Her Cavalier.
The professional company will be joined by 85 local children from a dozen local dance schools and academies. Following each performance, ticket-holders may obtain auto-graphs or take photos with the guest artists in the lobby. In addition, audience members may be interested in visiting the Nutcracker Boutique. Dozens of holiday items from collectible nutcrackers to holiday ornaments, children’s books and souvenir posters are on sale before, during and after the performances.
